The Stephenville Lions Club is made up of men and women volunteers who have come together to dedicate a portion of their time and resources to help others in need while striving to make the community a better place to live, to develop their leadership capacities, and enjoy fellowship.

At a Lions International convention in 1925, Helen Keller challenged Lions to become "Knights Of The Blind". Ever since that day, sight and hearing loss prevention and treatment have been major objectives of all Lions Clubs.

The Stephenville Lions Club was founded in 1922.
